We pride ourselves in educating students about our world's water resources through rain barrels. In order to maintain the safety of our participants and volunteers, we have decided to pause our programming until it is safe to return. Please visit our education page for at-home resources.
Barrels by the Bay teaches students first-hand, through community stewardship, the direct impact that they can make on the environment with rain barrels.
We have reached over 20,000 participants who have installed nearly 1,000 painted rain barrels in communities, reducing millions of gallons of stormwater runoff annually.
Rain barrels are systems that collect and store rainwater that would otherwise flow into local waterways carrying pollutants. We invite you to learn more about how you can help your local waterways!
